Directly from Nokia Betalabs comes a new application, still under experimentation. It is called Image Space and is a new concept to view photos taken with our phone. To do this you must have a Flickr account and have a cell phone compatible with the service.
Our smartphones, after taking the photo, send it on to the Web, adding geotagging. Now, thanks to it, you will conduct a presentation that can be displayed on your computer with the support of Flash 10. Image Space has been tested on: N97 mini, 6210 Navigator, 6710 Navigator, 6720 Classic
You can then start browsing and sharing photos in Image Space and building a view to your part of the world.
Your account, the privacy settings and contact lists are handled in Flickr. You see your Flickr contacts and those photos you have access to. Moreover, the comments, tags and photo descriptions can be viewed and edited in Image Space.
When there are enough photos of a given area which have been made publically available, Image Space generates a 3D presentation from them.
